These are some quick notes to help you import leads into the CleanWize system.

Start with Zip Codes

Enter all the serviceable zip codes in your territory before importing leads. This will allow the system exclude leads outside of your area. It also allows you to view the serviceable zip codes on a map.

  • Go to Master City Settings.
  • Scroll down to the Territory section.
  • Enter Zip Codes into Serviceable Zip Codes (must be in your Territory).
  • Click the Map button after saving to see them on a map.
  • Remember to use the Copy button when you want to copy/paste all the zip codes into Data Axle.

Data Axle

We have a Data Axle account that can supply you with leads, but you if have your own follow these basic guidelines:

  • Create a list and filter representing your territory first.
  • Paste all the zip codes into list first and save it.
  • This will be your base filter for creating all lists.
  • After choosing the leads you want make sure you export them using the Detail format, Summary format doesn't work.

Import Leads

After exporting leads from Data Axle, use the CleanWize Manage Data option to upload the leads and create a batch. Later you will assign those leads to a telemarketer as Basic Leads, but first you need to scrub them.

  • Under Client Sales select Manage Data.
  • In the upper right corner pick Upload Leads.
  • Choose Data Axle as the Vendor.
  • Enter a name for the list.
  • If you want to tell callers to look for this batch of leads, enter a Menu Label; otherwise leave it blank.
  • In Comments, describe the filter criteria from Data Axle. There is actually a way to copy this from Data Axle, it's in the upper right corner of their website when viewing the lead list.
  • Click the Upload button. It will automatically detect the format and import the leads, creating a batch.
  • Any leads not in the designated Master City Territory will not be imported so make sure you zip codes are in your Territory.

Scrub Leads

Before leads are assigned, they should be checked for duplicates and review the quality of the leads. The scrubbing process lets you mark duplicates, delete bad leads, link the leads to Google Maps, Google Search, Google Earth, DuckDuckGo and LinkedIn. Scrubbing is designed to be a quick process that allows a manager to research the leads first, saving time for the telemarketing team.

  • Under Client Sales select Manage Data.
  • Select Scrub Leads from the upper left menu.
  • Select the newly import lead like using the Import Batch filter menu.
  • Open the first record and review the lead information.
  • Use the buttons at the top to mark the lead duplication, dump the leads, set the lead status to 105-107 (mouse over buttons to see what they do).
